Any equipment used for walking such as lead’s and harnesses must fit well and be free from rips or tears. You are invited to purchase an additional tag that has my contact details on for the dog to wear in addition to their usual tag (this is extremely useful should you be out walking your dog at any time a finder can also contact me)

- If your dog has been unusually unwell prior to the next booked walk or pet sit please let me now.
- In extremes of weather such as excessive heat or cold, walks may be shorter to ensure the comfort and welfare of your dog or a house visit will be carried out for a comfort break.
- Please inform me if your dog contracts any infectious illnesses or conditions such as Kennel Cough,
- I will not be liable for the cost of any veterinary treatment that may be incurred because of an accident or emergency. If you or your emergency contact cannot be contacted in an emergency, I reserve the right to make an informed decision based on the veterinary or welfare needs of your pet.
- Written consent is required to let your dog off the lead.
- When a female dog is in season, pop in house visits will be offered as an alternative to walks
- Pets will be featured in media, promotions, social media and in promotions. Please let me know if you would prefer your pet’s photos are not included.
- Should you or I find the pet to be showing any unusual or continued aggression or nuisance behaviour, I have an open honesty policy to support you and can offer advice or refer to a behaviourist. I will not strike a client off my service list unless the behaviour isn’t addressed or becomes unmanageable.
- In the event of your dog walker being ill and unable to walk your dog for their scheduled walk, as much notice as possible will be given, there will not be a refund for that walk, however, the fee for the walk can be moved to cover additional walks that are outside of your set walk days (for e.g. if Dog A is walked regularly on a Mon and Tues, the owner then asks for an additional walk on a Wednesday, the Wednesday walk will not be charged for). Where clients cancel walks these will not be refunded unless the animal has sadly passed away.
- Should your dog become unwell during a walk or pet sit veterinary advice will be sought but the walker/sitter will not be liable to pay for any veterinary treatment the dog receives.
- I reserve the right to refuse further bookings based on aggression towards other dogs and/or people.
